Paloma Faith

Stepping out as a solo artist back in 2009, it was immediately and abundantly clear that Paloma Faith was the complete (and petite) package. A captivating chanteuse, a rabble-rousing entertainer and theatrical fashion chameleon, Faith’s debut album, ‘Do You Want the Truth, or Something Beautiful?’ remains a glossy collection of retro-referencing soul and sassy pop. But yet she is so much more than just a standard pop artist, with a wicked and wry sense of humour, she’s outspoken and unafraid: she has an opinion. As an artist she pulls from a wide range of sources, her experiences diverse. You’re as likely to find Faith on the red carpet or on the fashion front row as judging London’s Next Top Tranny at the local working men’s club. We welcome her feistiness to the stage at Feastival this year!

Gaz Coombes

After six successful albums with Supergrass (including the #1 debut ‘I Should Coco’), Gaz Coombes releases his debut solo album ‘Gaz Coombes Presents… Here Come The Bombs’ this month. Produced alongside Sam Williams, with whom Coombes first worked with on ‘I Should Coco’, ‘Here Come The Bombs’ represents a continuation of his day-to-day life in music. Recorded at Coombes’s home studio and at Williams’s Temple Studio, both in Oxford, the album explores the unexpected whilst maintaining the famous love of melody that marked some of Supergrass’s finest moments. Bringing this all to the stunning countryside, there will be some ethereally dreamy ‘Bombs’ for sure.

The Cuban Brothers

The Cuban Brothers are unique. Born of the loins of seventies Havana, nurtured on a diet of soulful, sexy tunes and inspired by Cuban historical fact and mythology their fresh approach to live entertainment whips up a frenzy at every gig. Their legendary performance combines music, riotous comedy, and sensational dancing – most of all we have fun!!

Taking it right back, The Cuban Brothers launched by storming UK club land with their passionate attitude towards partying and performing. Their unique flavour made nights out tasty again and their rise to fame has been meteoric. From stealing the main stage at Manumission to hosting the NME Awards The Cuban Brothers soon became the most desirable act to book for the coolest live events. MTV were soon hot on their trail and in 2002 The Cuban Brothers started presenting music specials including festival coverage of Homelands and Creamfields, MTV in Ibiza and the MTV Music Awards. This year saw them perform on Sports Relief with Fatima Whitbread and are set to create havoc at The Big Feastival this year. We can’t wait!
