This is where the family fun really starts! This year, the Little Dudes’ Den will be bursting with fun and games and an incredible selection of market stalls handpicked for little ones. From festival fare to fancy dress, there’s something for every little dude and dudette.
We are really excited about this year’s field to fork experience – The Wheat Project where, with the help of The RAU and Hobbs House Bakery, children will have the opportunity to take part in the journey of making bread – from harvesting and milling to baking. If baking is their thing, BKD will also be running cupcake decorating classes.
The Big Top Tent in association with Mini nom noms will take little visitors on a big voyage of discovery, with yoga moves, storytelling, jam sessions and dance lessons inspired by travels around the world. Elsewhere, the Little Dudes’ Den experience would not be complete without a visit to Adam Henson’s Cotswold Farm Park where you can cuddle rabbits, chicks, lambs and piglets. To fit in with their new fury friends, little ones can also become one of their favourite animals with Cheltenham Face Painting!
To kit your kids out this summer, Frugi, Muddy Puddles and Mothercare’s ‘Little Bird by Jools’ will be on hand with a range of beautiful clothing. Love my Smalls will be on hand with their range of beautiful merino garments that look as good as they feel. For something extra special, treat your little explorer to a bespoke hoodie from Favela Hoodies – with an array of colours and patterns to choose from, the team will be on hand to stitch your kid’s name onto a hoodie of their choice, making them the envy of the playground.
For those who like to stand out in a crowd, Tell Tails have a weird and wonderful collection of animal tails and So Pretty will be showcasing some stunning party dresses. To complete the look, Bo and Ted, Love My Smalls and The Tipi have a range of cool accessories and for the new mums amongst you, there are eco-friendly Moses baskets from Moba, strollers from Bugaboo and natural organic skincare from Purepotions. If you are looking to stimulate active minds, take your children to Imagination Adventures, where they can get stuck into a good book. And for all those little one’s wanting to find their inner zen, Club Morgan will be running Mind Body Spirit yoga sessions for children.
Alongside fashion and fun there will be plenty to keep hunger at bay in the Little Dudes’ Den. There will be healthy snacks from Bear Nibbles and Goodness Gracious Foods which can be washed down with a healthy smoothie from Happy Monkey Drinks or a refreshing frozen yogurt lolly from Claudi and Fin.
Lucy Air Ambulance is a UK charity and is the first UK first dedicated air transfer service to fly critically ill infants and children from local hospitals to the relevant centres. Lucy Air Ambulance will be at The Big Feastival collection donations.
