Perhaps you all know a dish called omelette. Usually it's something like a pancake, fried in a special way, served in a pie-shaped or crescent. To help you to prepare this dish in a really fast and easy way, I made up their own - my baked version - the baked omelette with tomatoes and ham. Enjoy!
8 strawberry mini tomatoes
1 or 2 dried tomatoes from a pickle
3 slices of ham
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
pinch of chilli flakes
1 teaspoon of dried basil
1 tablespoon of olive oil extra virgin
1/2 cup of buttermilk or a natural yogurt
Heat the oven to 180C or 200C hot air up / down.
Frisk eggs in a bowl, add basil, chilli, salt, pepper, olive oil and yogurt and mix all thoroughly. Yogurt gives lightness weight to this dish.
In a small ovenproof dish put on the bottom the tomatoes cut in a half. Select the strawberry ones, they are pleasantly sweet and have delicious flavour when they are warm. Chop dried tomato and sprinkle on tomatoes. Ham cut into the slices and arrange them on tomatoes. Then go with the egg mass - spill it evenly on tomatoes and ham and put the ovenproof dish into the oven. You will feel it during the meal. Bake until the top is nicely golden.
Et voilą ! Quick dish ą la omelette on the afternoon.
