Experience The Rewards Of A Food 360 Kitchen
Combining his passions of making tasty great food and making good with our local earth, chef and master compost educator Yapo started San Diego’s local, organic, sustainable, ‘Yapos Home Catering’ and originated the sustainable Food 360 Kitchen concept.
Food 360 Kitchen
A Food 360 Kitchen is garden to kitchen, the plate and back to garden. Literally, grow or buy local, organic foods first, prepare homemade tasty great food and sustainably divert food prep and post service scraps to compost for future gardens.
We know the best food for you (and earth) comes only from the highest quality food ingredients. To us, the highest quality food ingredients are the freshest they can be (local), not impacted by any chemical or scientific modification (organic) and from trusted people in your community. It is our responsibility to start making sustainable lifestyle behavior changes now. The Food Revolution needs you to re-think how to shop, eat and live.
Food Revolution Supper Club
At the suggestion of clients, family and the eco-friendly community, Yapo started the Food Revolution Supper Club to share his sustainable expertise, organic neighborhood connections and culinary creations. Through Yapo’s Food Revolution Supper Club participants can enjoy a 6-course gourmet, local, organic, seasonal menu while gaining valuable sustainable living knowledge. By dining together, Food Revolution Supper Club connects area households with the owners of local, organic, sustainable farms and ranches that Yapo regularly procures foods from for professional and personal use.
Each quarter, the Food Revolution Supper Club menu highlights different farmers, ranchers and their seasonal food resources. Each location is always impressive, eco-friendly and spacious to allow everyone to experience the kitchen throughout service. Between courses, farmers and ranchers stand to share their passions and where you can get their great local, organic foods. Previous partners include Phil of Sage Mountain Farm, Joe of JR Organics, Gary of Mountain Meadow Mushrooms, Mary of Mary’s Turkeys and Chickens, Rebecca and Norm of Carlsbad Aquafarm and more.
Our goal is to bring the Food Revolution Supper Club to your community, connect you with your local, organic, seasonal bounty and share sustainable living knowledge you can adopt. In the meantime, you can watch the Food 360 Kitchen episodes taped around past Food Revolution Supper Clubs and see Yapo teach this sustainable kitchen behavior.
What will your legacy be? ...Viva Food Revolution!!!
