I'm also from Sweden and I often have lingonberry jam on my pancakes. It's lovely! But I have never heard of Swedish fish cakes. I might try them out though, they seems nice.

That's weird... I'm Swedish, but I've never even heard of this dish... Must be the same thing as when you order "Swedish pancakes" in other countries, and they bring you lingonberry pancakes. No swede would ever put lingonberries on pancakes. :)

..I asumed that the cakes would need to be brushed with a beaten egg to get the crumbs to stick. Do agree it would help ?
