I am chinese but i am not a chef. what i will say is why did he use out of the bottle black bean sauce? make it from the dried beans! he didnt marinate the beef either!! also, fried rice you leave it in fridge overnight for frying. Chinese people use rice cooker to cook rice not boil in pot.

I am absolutely rubbish at cooking & don't normally venture further than the pre-packed meals in a supermarket but turning 40 next yr thought it about time I tried a bit harder. This was excellent as a first dish, straighforward & loved the video as wouldn't have had a clue what to do with ginger! THANKYOU!
