Commercial ovens

FAQ's

Can I have an oven if I am located within a smoke-controlled zone?

Yes. All of our ovens are DEFRA approved and carry a Clean Air Exemption Certificate issued under the Clean Air Act 2008 No.515 (England). This certificate is an exemption from the Smoke Control Laws adhered to by many local authorities, and is recognised by all of the Local Authorities in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. A copy of the appropriate certificate (depending on location) is given with every oven purchased*. Without this certificate and exemption your Local Authority, DEFRA have the power to close down or remove your oven.

* For commercial ovens, our team must assemble the kit oven (but not the housing) to be exempt.
