Residential ovens

FAQs

Are there any laws against using the oven because of the smoke?

Not for our ovens. In the UK, environmental laws make using most wood fired ovens illegal in smoke-controlled areas. However, all of our ovens have been tested and certified by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), which means that they can be used throughout the UK, even in smoke-controlled zones such as central London. It is important to check that any wood fired oven has this certification, or the owner of the oven could receive a substantial fine.
