Jamie's fiery dan dan noodles
This Asian noodle dish is one of my favorites from Jamie's America cookbook. I cook some Vermicelli pasta and add bok choi and broccoli during the last two minutes into the boiling pasta water. After draining the water, I add soy sauce, garlic, pepper, chili oil and some of the starchy cooking water back in the pasta veggie pot. While cooking the pasta, I fry up some ground beef. When the meat is crispy, I add honey over it while it is still warm. I serve everything in a big bowl and top it with scallions.
