There’s always a spring in Jamie’s step at this time of year, as lots of exciting new produce starts to pop its head out of the earth or blossom on the trees.

This month’s Jamie Magazine is bursting with gorgeous seasonal recipes, including Alice Hart’s delicious pea shoot and prawn dumplings in broth, as well as some delicious lamb recipes from London’s Bombay café, Dishoom.

We’re looking forward to Easter too – Jamie’s head pastry chef Ed Loftus is showing off his chocolate skills by showing you how to make your own chocolate eggs. Jamie’s been inspired by Ed’s work and, in keeping with the pudding theme, come up with an amazing retro cappuccino cake too.

Throw in a feature all about Cork’s incredible foodie scene, baking muffins with kids and the ultimate coq au vin, and this spring is looking even more exciting than ever.

Issue 47 of Jamie Magazine is on sale from 13 March 2014. Priced at £3.99, it is available in supermarkets, WHSmith, and leading independent newsagents. The digital edition, which was voted Launch of the Year (New Format) at the Digital Magazine Awards 2013, is available from the App Store.
