  • peas
  • italian easy cook rice about 4 tea cups for a large family
  • water
  • kettle
  • saucepan and lid
  • hot stove
  • metal spoon
  • salt and pepper
boil the cold water in a kettle
once kettle clicks off
put the saucepan on a lit stove about a middle heat and gently pour the water from the kettle to the pan
add salt and pepper about 13 grinds of each
add 4 tea cups of rice and keep stirring with the metal spoon until its reboiling!!!
turn the heat down to simmer and place lid on for ten minutes!!! at ten minutes take the lid off and put the peas in and put the lid back on for a further 5 to 9 minutes!!! turn off the heat and drain away the water using the sink and the lid!!! be very careful its extremely hot!!! you may want to use a oven mit to hold the handles!!! fluff up the rice and peas in the pan without the water and can be used as a side order to italian dishes!!!
