The awards are open to non-fee paying nurseries, pre-schools, primary and secondary schools in the UK.

What are The Good School Food Awards?
The Jamie Oliver Good School Food Awards celebrate the sheer brilliance, ingenuity and determination of those working in the education system to bring good food to our children. There are a range of awards to apply for and some amazing prizes to win.
When do entries open?
22 February 2023.
When do entries close?
Applications close at 12pm GMT on 23 April 2023.
Do I have to pay to enter?
The awards are free to enter.
Can I apply for more than one Award?
Absolutely. There is no limit to the number of awards a person or organisation can enter.
Can I submit an ongoing project?
Of course – we are happy to consider both ongoing and completed projects.
How are the awards judged?
The awards will be shortlisted by our expert panel, who have a track record of knowledge and experience in these fields. Then the celebrity judging panel will choose who wins the award… And may even hand-deliver a few to schools!
When will the winners be announced and the Golden Spoons be presented?
The winners will be announced and the Golden Spoons will be presented in late June 2023… Stay tuned!
