We’re on a campaign to champion the best of British produce. Whether it’s connecting you directly to suppliers, or showing you how to use their wonderful produce, we want to support local producers at a time when their usual supply and demand has been lost.

JAMIE SAYS:

“For me, championing our great British farmers and producers is a total no-brainer. Our lovely nation has some of the very best artisan foods and ingredients in the world, produced by wonderfully passionate people, who are simply brilliant at what they do.

And right now, perhaps more than ever, they need our support. The short story is that, as thousands of restaurants, pubs and delis closed overnight, many independent, artisan suppliers lost out. Yes, supermarkets stock a fantastic range of fresh produce, and they absolutely serve a purpose, but these producers are a key part of our nation’s food culture. There’s so much heritage and some amazing stories behind them, and a lot of family businesses, where skills and knowledge have been passed down through the generations. Come on, guys – you’ve got to champion that!

So, from cheesemakers to free-range duck and trout farmers, and everything in between, let’s get behind our local producers, so we can keep these amazing businesses alive. Not only will you be sharing the love, you’ll be getting some absolutely delicious food to enjoy while you’re at it. Win-win.’’

If you’ve already bought some produce from our fabulous suppliers, thank you. We’ve hand-picked a selection of dishes to guide and inspire you to make the most of these wonderful ingredients — check out the collections below.
