Healthy food doesn’t just have to mean carrot sticks and lettuce leaves. This is a whole day of nutritious meals and snacks that are all packed with flavour, texture and colour. Plus, there’s even a cheeky meal prep idea thrown in! So give these recipes a go and you wont regret it.

Crunchy pistachios are super-high in the mineral chloride, which our bodies need to aid digestion and keep our guts happy. A great way to start the day!

 

This beautiful salad is a lighter twist on the traditional tuna Niçoise salad. Using Greek yoghurt to make the dressing keeps things light, while black olives and red wine vinegar pack a flavour punch. It’s healthy food, but not as you know it!

 

Chickpeas – the star ingredient in houmous – are incredibly good for you. High in protein and fibre, this is a great, nutritious snack. Serve with crunchy veg or other healthy food for dipping.

 

Using cocoa powder helps to add a lovely depth of flavour here, and it’s high in the mineral copper, which we need to keep our skin and hair strong and healthy.

 

To make eating healthy food as easy as possible, preparation is key. Whip up a batch of delicious Bircher muesli before you go to bed at night, and you’ll have a beautiful and satisfying breakfast waiting for you in the morning. Winner!
