About the recipe

These wicked waffles are super-easy and take just 10 minutes to make. Top with whatever you fancy, but yoghurt, fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey is my fave.

Ingredients

50g Granola Dust

100g self-raising flour

½ teaspoon baking powder

1 large free-range egg

220ml semi-skimmed milk

olive oil

optional, to serve: fresh fruit, natural yoghurt, runny honey

Method

  1. To make the waffle batter, mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Crack in the egg, then whisk in the milk to combine.
  2. Get your waffle machine ready. Once it’s hot, spray with a little olive oil, ladle in the batter mixture and seal, following the machine instructions, and cook until golden. (Mine took 3 to 4 minutes.)
  3. Delicious served with fresh fruit, a dollop of yoghurt and a little honey, if you fancy it.
