These are the most fantastic thing. You eat the chillies whole and they are amazing as munchies with drinks, not too hot. At the same time they make lovely flavoured olive oil which I like to add garlic and bay to for extra flavour. Great used on salads, over mozzarella and other cheeses, on pizzas and over pasta.
Recipe From
1kg small, round baby bell chilli peppers
1 bottle of olive oil (don’t panic – see below!)
1 good handful of fresh parsley or basil, leaves picked
2 good handfuls of rocket
1 small handful of baby capers, soaked and drained
1 handful of anchovies, in oil
10 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, or enough to cover
