Re: Whats For Supper?
Home-made Italian Turkey burgers, it would have been chicken but i couldnt get what i wanted. Besides the turkey wasn't only cheaper but its healthier... bonus.
I'm cooking these in the oven and just before taking them out i will pop on a little bit of mozzarella so its just melted.
Served with a Gratin of Parsnip, carrots and leek in a cream, pink peppercorn and fresh sage sauce. ![]()
Oh and ive also made a kinda salsa...... just simmered yellow mustard seeds with Cider vinegar and golden sugar for 1min and cooled, then add to chopped tomatoes and sliced spring onion. ![]()

Re: Whats For Supper?
Lunch today:
Leftover Chettinad Chicken & Mint Chutney, with a large green salad of herbs & foraged 'greens'
Dinner tonight:
Making some Cornish Pasties in a wee while (& enough to give a neighbour, who is visiting wife/child in hospital every day, a couple for the freezer)
Not sure what, if anything, to have with them?

Re: Whats For Supper?
We still have ham left over from Easter dinner, so I made a ham, spinach, and feta omelet (sp?).
We're having ham again tomorrow night, but I think I'm going to make it into ham and Swiss cheese sliders. After that, hopefully it'll be gone. ![]()

I wish I was there. I love fresh artichokes. Adam Perry Lang has a great recipe for them grilled with a anchovy butter sauce.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Just Googled it and it sounds lovely.
I have practically everything in the house to make this, just need some chicken livers, ground pork and Cajun seasoning. I think I now know what's for supper tonight, I was wondering what to do as well. ![]()
