Fish! Took the kids to the fish market for the first time today. Bit of a fright then excitement at the mud crabs moving.

One of (the few) things I miss about Sydney (though we do quite well here).

Re: Whats For Supper?

2nd sons 15th birthday today and its tradition in our house that the birthday person picks whats for dinner.... so it was lasagna, garlic bread and salad (which he had none off because he doesn't eat salad!!) but a meal isn't a meal to me without greens!!

Re: Whats For Supper?

Happy Birthday to your son Sheryl!
It was a bit like that with my daughter, it gets into their psyche too (hooray!) so it might be that when he grows up he will also think a meal isn't a meal without greens!

Re: Whats For Supper?

Happy belated birthday to your son, Sheryl. I used to do the "hide the veg" thing or make a spinach and ricotta lasagne / cannelloni. I was/ am shameless wink.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Thanks Maree and Joy.  I hope one day he will eat salad but at least he eats some vegetables now but its been slow going.  I do hide the greens when I can, I've even put finely chopped broccoli stalks into bolognese sauce! In general he will eat vegetables in things but not on the side.
