Re: Whats For Supper?

I had more of what I had the other night. (Chicken and veggies with parsnip/potato mash on top). It was the lot I froze and it came up well!

Re: Whats For Supper?

Baked Potato Corn Chowder! It gets a bit easier each time I make it. And garlic & green onion "monkey bread".                   I made cherry Jello for dessert tonight and will attempt to make Cappy R's "Charlie Brown" cookies to go with it.
Question-Joobs, what is stuffed marrow? smile

I can't compete with your exotic foods (to the extent that I can't even cook my own chips - I blame the local spuds). So my supper last night was JO's black pork with a tangy mushroom sauce and supermarket frozen chips. Still, I really enjoyed it.

looks lovely but cant find the recipe....

I've plagiarised it here - http://freebeerforyorky.com/blackpork.html

[Edit - The last time I cooked the pork loin I decided not to cut it into 20mm "slices" but marinade and BBQ it at it's original 60mm thickness. It was better I think).
