Re: Whats For Supper?

Some very disappointing plaice last night - don't know whether it was the fish itself, or No. 1 Daughter's first attempt at cooking fish.  The sauteed potatoes and peas that went with it were lovely ....

Tonight I've got a slow-roast shoulder of pork with roast potatoes and parsnips and carrots, followed by coffee and walnut cake.

Not tonight, I'm afraid!  I prefer them with breakfast myself  (heaven with egg and bacon)

For those wondering what they are, here's a link:

Re: Whats For Supper?

Thanks, Olivia. Looking at the three ingredients listed, it seems a lot like colcannon. Is that correct?

Re: Whats For Supper?

I can't remember if I ever posted this but it's a dish I eat frequently when eating out. This one I cooked myself (with a little assistance).

Laab Gai (spicy chicken salad). It comes in other varieties, e.g laab moo (pork), laab neua (raw beef), etc.
