Foods high in protein are good if you want to feel fuller for longer, due to the way they are digested they take longer to digest.

DUDE YOU JUST HAVE TO SUCK IT UP BECAUSE NOT ONLY WILL THE FOOD GET YOU, THE DRINKING WILL TO.
AND YOU HAVE TO RU YOUR BUTT OFF.
DUDE WE DID 8 MILES A DAY AND IN THE EVENING WE WOULD WORK YOU.
HAVE TO BE COMMITTED BUT IT IS HARD.
NO SNACK IS GOING TO HELP OVERCOME THE HUNGER BUT YOU CAN EAT THEN TO CUT DOWN ON FAT......

If your going to start taking protein shakes I would suggest www.myprotein.co.uk (enter "www.sports-nutrition.net" into the price matcher). Beats all the marketed crap that you get.

I have a similar problem although mine isnt with smoking. Im on a 1 litre fluid restriction per day (or less if its possible). I find myself constantly at the fridge wanting to drink. So I get a small bottle and fill it with water or juice and stick it in the freezer until its almost frozen. Shake it up and it takes a little while to get through it. You can use a big bottle though, which will take alot longer to get through.
