planning a world trip

Hi guys,

Jamie's mate Simon has just come back from his world trip and finished his blog: http://www.jamieoliver.com/simonsblog/

He's gone accross the world and off the beaten track a few times. He's left a list of highlights so if you have itchy feet, like myself, and are looking for places to see (and eat at) his experiences may come in handy.

Have a good weekend thumbsup

Re: planning a world trip

Hi guys,

Just getting ahead of myself in terms of the weekend, as I always do.

Would really love to visit B.C of course, but its a bit out of my budget at the moment, maybe for the 2010 Winter Olympics. Marrakech looks interesting and easy to get to from Europe but totally different.  Anyone been on any interesting trips recently?

Have a good weekend, for real this time big_smile

Re: planning a world trip

Hi

I lived in Southeast Asia for 2 years and I would highly recommend Singapore & Bali. Singapore has fantastic food such as; Thai, Indian, Lebanese, Chinese, Malay and the list goes on.  Bali is known for their beautiful islands- North Bali is beautiful for some trekking in the rice paddy fields, tropical forests & beaches. As well if your up for it, you can experience some great surfing along the way and I can't forget the fantastic lobster on the beaches.

Cheers
