Re: Spam and advertising on the Forums
the good news is that I no longer need to look at the keyboard whilst typing the words "Spam" and "Reported"

We suffer from the 'spam on blog'. Promoting commercial services (where you will see web sites noted repeatedly) the more we click and look at those sites gain points for the spammer & or site (contributes to its implied value)..i think that even we are not 'allowed' to post commercial sites here, but we (i) certainly have done in the past.
Bored individuals also spam, some are quite funny when its kids during holiday breaks, they can be a small group together...sometimes three but are quickly spotted.
Nastier spammers also (rarely) blog in to insult a persons nationality....or to insult JO.
A guy repeatedly promoting his meat site for quite some time is still around, he tries to blend in at the same time, he has though had his share of 'be careful, you have been noticed'... ![]()
