French Toast

* 4 eggs
* 3/4 cup milk
* 3 tablespoons brown sugar
* 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
* 12 slices white bread
* 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs. Add the milk, brown sugar and nutmeg; stir well to combine.

2. Soak bread slices in the egg mixture until saturated.

3. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Brown slices on both sides, sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot.

If you want to go all out, try using bread like brioche or day old french... you can stuff the insides with cream cheese and blueberries or whatever is in season for you and after stuffing dip the sandwich into the egg mixture and cook as normal. I like to add vanilla or a tiny bit of almond extract to my egg mixture. yummy  yummy  yummy  I am going to be making this on Sunday as the whole family will be here for my sons birthday clap
