Vegetable and Fruit Gardening
Whats the best fruit and vegetables to grow right now witch in Oz is just into spring soon going into summer whats good? ![]()

Hi,
Might depend on which bit of Oz you are in. Up north (eg Sydney and up), pretty much anything is ok now. Put tomatoes in for fruit at Xmas, rocket, capsicums etc.
Down south there might still be frosts, so go for things that are ok with that- peas, beans, lettuce, spinach. Probably in a couple of weeks the chance of frost will be over, so go crazy and plant anything then! ![]()

Get your gooseberries, raspberries so they can have a good start also garlic can be planted now ..have fun !!

Here in Tassie. we are growing lettuce, Tomatoes, Cucumber, Chilies, Silverbeet, Beans and zucchinis at the moment.

We are harvesting tomatoes, cucumber, silver beet, beetroot, zucchini, potatoes, beans, yellow peppers which have been great this year. We r waiting on chillies and celery which are looking doubtful
. We live in central west NSW (2 hrs west of Lithgow)
