Pablo smashed down a Bleeding Heart (Dicentra spectabilis) and a Boxwood because apparently I'd planted them in his favorite summer sleeping spot in the garden. Of course, I removed the offensive plants!

I could not keep my eyes open even sitting on a hard chair trying to understand what'll happen in Val di Susa ![]()

Re: who's knocking at the kitchen door
A lovely friend was looking through my kitchen door, hesitated and called my name. We drank tea in the garden then once again walked around the house to inspect my latest aquirements

We then went for a very long walk which lasted 3hrs, we walk fast to burn the winter fat ![]()

Re: who's knocking at the kitchen door
I have had a succession of folks shouting to me through the kitchen door the last couple of days..............mostly to no avail, as I have been pretty much camped out in the garden since the weather has been so warm.
My brand new raised beds are looking fabulous now they are sealed with chestnut oil & firmly in their resting places. I am happily filling them with all sorts of soil & other good stuff.
It's surprising to me that neighbours & other such people have come to say 'Hello' & have a good look at them..........all nodding & passing comment (in a good way).
How did they all know I had built them? Why are so many people pleased I have built them at all?

Re: who's knocking at the kitchen door
in Italy there are always at least three people giving suggestions to one working, maybe in GB they come later to compliment the finished job
I'm commented during and after by people passing on their bikes ![]()
.......... are they happy you finished drilling and hammering Minni?
