Is it one of Jamie's recipes?  The site has both U.K. and U.S. measures.  To get the U.K. measurements, click at the top right where it says 'country' and select the G.B.

If it's not on the site and you can't find the metric weight measurements for this dish, just use an 8 ounce container to measure both the flour and beer by volume.
