Oh Ashen, now you've worried me.  My brother lives in Brantford, Ont.  Due to call him tomorrow.  Still, they are more able to cope with that stuff over there.  Must check their forecast.

I live very close to there thistledo...  It is fine here now.. we had a fairly large snowfall but not near the conditions that are happening in the Maritime provinces and northeastern US states.    On top of nearly a metre of expected snow there, they are getting wind gusts that are hurricane strength.

edit.. sorry I meant half a metre.   although with that kind of blowing winds , the drifting will be pretty impressive.

Thanks for that Ashen.  Didn't even know your whereabouts.  I checked out the forecast on Brantford Weather, which my brother uses and apart from a -12 degrees overnight, it doesn't seem to bad.
