Replacement ingredient for almonds
Hi,
I really like the look of this: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/dess … _pear_tart
But I have one problem - I'm not a fan of almonds
.
Does anyone know if I could use another ingredient (maybe grind up some hazlenuts or something in the food processor)? Would it work?

Re: Replacement ingredient for almonds
yeah, you can use any ground nut - hazelnut or walnut would be fine; they'll give a slightly different taste but it should be ok
just buy them ground, it's too much work to do it yourself
