Re: What beer is in your fridge?
My favourite beer is the beer that's in your refrigerator not mine. Sorry I never acquired a taste for beer.
The funny thing is everybody used to tell me to force myself to drink it because I would acquire a taste for it.
I'm sure you could acquire a taste for cow manure too if you forced yourself to eat it.
But I do like Hunter's Dry. I got that in South Africa. I'm not sure exactly what kind of drink it was but it was good. ![]()

Re: What beer is in your fridge?
I will look out for La Chouffe, hopefully it's available though? I won't forget what it looks like,
We only have a small liquor store near us that only carries the "usual", maybe I can ask the ladies if it's possible to order it in. They know me there and we chit chat quite often
Cheers everyone!

Hi Steve,.......Mead is something I get when I visit the family, & although its desperately expensive comparatively speaking, it is wonderful in summer desserts. Have you tried making syllabub with it?
Not done anything with it but drink it !, Its actually part of the "honeymoon" as we know it, something like you drink mead for a month after getting married (mead having honey in it etc)...
If I stumble across a few bottles and find drinking it too difficult
I might make something with it... ![]()

Re: What beer is in your fridge?
Ashen, I think there's a Dutch or German beer I bought as a single can and it was 7%
Have you heard of Old English
I have never bought it but i think it's more for the "effect". But I will look for the Zubr, that's easy enough to remember.

Hi
Right now I have a couple of Heineken :-) But I also drink Tuborg from time to time but over the years I have gotten more and more into the wine
