You know you're "tragic" when...

You ask for ACDC's "Black Ice" album for Christmas and play it (loadly) but in private or on MP3;

You dress "in character" for a concert and (blush) get labelled by the attending media as as one of the "witchey ones" at a Stevie Nicks concert;

When forced to use a butcher other than your "own", you ask how long their beef has hung.

I could go on but I've probably revealed more than I should have already smile

Your thoughts?

They are tragic, aren't they?"...That ain't workin..." Apologies to younger members of the forum who *must* be cool to be members.

Deb, your niece's saving grace is that she is only 4yrs old.Much older and she'd slip off my birthday and Christmas list (joking) smile

Re: You know you're "tragic" when...

There is indeed a difference between old and tragic, Maree.  I'm old enough to remember when the Leafs last won the Stanley Cup.  Tragic is my naive belief that they may do so again in my lifetime.  Toronto AM640 radio ran an ad a few years back that said "Mr. Transmission has been in business since before Toronto last won the Cup", to which a second voice replied "They had cars then?  Priceless!
