Sister once drank half a bottle of Quink ink [ aged 4 ] does that count.

Re: Guilty Food Pleasures

used to love a crisp sandwich when I was a student. Dime bar was what I always sent John to the petrol station for. He was a doll. Never grumbled x

Re: Guilty Food Pleasures

i have the last dime bar he bought me sitting in the draw. He must have got two and hidden it to save him going out in the cold next time I asked him. Ain't it always true what they say that you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

Oh mincepie , I used to do that when I was a child ! is sort of sticks to the roof of your mouth when you spoon it in like that.... and if you laugh when your trying to eat it... well that's another problem all together  lol

Deb,
Maybe you are meant to eat it! Not keep it in the drawer. You never know!

My sins include:

White bread & crunchy peanut butter with real butter

White bread, fried egg &  tomato sauce sandwiches

Baked beans on toast topped with fried egg & grated cheddar

My OH does eat :

Peanut butter, banana & white sugar sandwich on white bread

Crisp sandwiches on white bread or even rolled up on lebanese bread

He also eats marg & wont touch real butter.

We all eat nutella with a spoon straight from the jar as none of us like it on bread.

Re: Guilty Food Pleasures

I miss this  hangover breakfast from my bachelor days  when staying at a friends trailer near the beach.. .. usually eaten around 1 or 2 pm as we didn't go to sleep til we saw the sun rise.  lol

sandwich made on toasted sliced white bread well buttered, then a dollop of mayonaise.
proper maple leaf bologna cut thickand fried in butter , broken yolk fried egg, kraft process cheese slices.(2)  assemble and micro for 30 seconds to melt the plastic cheese. wash down with a fresh beer..   usually the beer  would be thrown at you accompanied by  the words "Beer Up " .

lather rinse repeat for  2 days or  3  if it was a long weekend.  shocked  lol

Re: Guilty Food Pleasures

Still love a crisp sandwich, has to be plain salted crisps on doughy white bread with real butter.

My other snack that I try to keep secret is the a 250g pack of marzipan that I buy intending to ice the Christmas cake with but somehow gets hidden in the fridge just for me to chomp a big lump off every now and then oops
