Re: What trivialities are currently annoying you?

Unless you also have a drier to help you avoid ironing, it is all in the hanging.
I only iron two things: cotton blouses and table linens. (and let the OH iron his own shirts)

If I let mine hub do that it would take the electric bill through the roof. Two hours for one shirt shocked  Now that,s annoying.

found the paint, thank heaven, but not before someone told Isaac I suspected him of taking it....uncool. But that he has taken so much might help him understand how I might feel like thinking that way. Gee, that was bad. Losing money is one thing but believing someone had taken my art supplies was the worst, and thankfully untrue.

Re: What trivialities are currently annoying you?

Hi Nette, don't think we've "met" before. Hi and welcome.

In view of what's happening here at the moment, I've shoved almost everything in the "trivial basket". My dishwasher and washing machine "ceased to be" yesterday (Wed).

The power went off three times while I was cooking for work. Talk about cooking from touch, look and smell.Best way. Oven is useless anyway.

All bloody insignificant (my gow gee, included) when put into perspective, though, isn't it?

Makes one think of what is important and what is not.

Mind you, still no sleep- packaging to take to PO.  Customers were warned last week Valentine's Day orders would go Express Post and it's Thursday.

Those two (AkA known) as my kids will get an earfull when they wake.

You know, on second thoughts, I can't be bothered. Will point out selfishness when they'd "made other plans" to eat outside home and I'd phoned them both to check.

A dinner of Vegemite on wholemeal toast at least gave me a Vit B hit.

Things have changed.

So long as they don't go overboard with "compassion overload".

Re: What trivialities are currently annoying you?

Penny, was about to post and then re-read yours.

I guess that they are trying to weed out the younger than 36 group who "might get lucky" so they don't have to pay.

Most comes down to money, doesn't it ?

That's tough and *not* a triviality. Guess you've checked out all of the other options.

Not at all negative re IVF, except as a currently non-practising midwife and with friends who've been through it, I know that it's a rough road.

I am not religious and so will *not* say "my prayers are with you". If I did, they'd be invalid.

Instead, I will say that my thoughts are with you and that they are positive ones.

Good luck, sweetie xx

Maree, do you ever sleep? Although by now it is probably late morning in Sidney (if I get the time difference right) you should finally get some rest!

Yeah, Sus' it's 10.26 (AEDST)on Thursday.

Am about to fall over. Will get back to those who I posted and didn't work (grrrrr-hate wasted emails) and to those I didn't get to answer because of the above.

Am heading for bed.

Take care all xx
