Hiya Frizz,
Yeah , the recipes here are so inspirational. Great reference.
Hi cookingfor,
Welcome to these fora. It's a great place with lovely people sharing their knowledge of food and life.
With your question do you mean a recipe that combines fish and chicken in one dish or as in two separate dishes?
Anyway, a great vegetable to combine with fish is fennel, if you like the anise taste.
For more inspiration, take a look at the recipes from JO himself.

The following website is a great source of information about foodpairing. Type an ingredient in the right box and the site generates different pairings.

Eg : grilled beef.

Good luck.

Re: Foodology
Hi Elizabeth,
You can make an excellent risotto by starting it and then finishing when your guests arrive. It should be the first thing you serve since it be eaten immediately!
Have you tried any of jamies risotto recipes? They are great. I made the cauliflower one with the pangrattato and it was a hit. If not you can try a good classic mushroom medley risotto.
In any case you make your risotto with already half of your broth incorporated and then set aside and when guests are about to arrive to put it back on the stove and finish off. Maybe about 10 minutes or even less. A risotto takes about 16 to 18 minutes total.
hope this helps
