mummza I also loved the Tangee and what Jamie cooked in it looked delicious.
I wish there was smell-a-vision, because I really wanted to smell that garam masala mix!
My in-laws are in Morocco at the moment and loving it! They are just about to spend 3 nights in the Sahara on a camel trek sleeping under the stars.

Enjoyed it too last night. Thought the recipes were fab, and just simple cooking. Have to make that snakey cakey. Can't wait to get the book.

Jase, how long is your kitchen bench? My tinsy weensy kitchen would not handle making the snakey pastry.
Maybe when I move back to Melbourne in a month or so I will find a place with a bigger kitchen. ![]()
I am really looking forward to the rest of this series.

Well my kitchen table opens to 2 metres so that will do. It looked so yummy. Just can't afford to buy the book yet.

I would have to use my dinning table if I wanted to make a snakey cake.Work surface is very limited in my Kitchen.
I would have loved to have had a go at making the pastry for the cake. Looked fast and fun.

I enjoyed the show very much! Thx Jamie!
I'll try the lamb with butter, cumin, coriander, thyme tomorrow. I'd love to thy the beef tagine too, must be amazing!
*I'd try the chicken one, but my preserved lemons have gone bitter(I keep them in the fridge, don't know why...)

Absolutely loved the first programme. Wow Marrakesh in two days, but he packed a fair bit in, the atmosphere of the place really came across, and of course Jamie's passion and enthusiasm is so infectious.
I'm doing the mechui lamb tomorrow and I feel a book spree coming on too!
Can't wait to see the rest of the series. ![]()

I watched the Marrakech show on catch-up...
I must say, it was soooo helpful! I am catering for a racing event in Marrakech in two weeks and we are trying to put together an authentic Morrocan menu...
Lots of notes were taken!
This is where I am staying!
