What did you find in your garden today?
It looks like my chili plants (after looking dead all winter) are putting out some leaves!
There are also buds on my tamarillo and all my parsley is going magnificently to seed!
Spring is here! ![]()

Re: What did you find in your garden today?
It's beautiful day Joy, I lost 2 chilli plants this year due to the long winter. My lettuces are coming back to life along with my parsley and sage. The lemons haven't stopped yet, it's been lovely to have a ready supply all winter, the limes are half way there, our first crop since we planted it 2 years ago. Oh and the garlic has loved all of the rain we've had, they shouldbe harvestable sometime in the next few weeks.

I know what will be in the garden today ....
"Slugs and snails " ( but no puppy dog tails !)
The slugs and snails will have come out to party after the terrible rain that we had yesterday.
If you saw the telly which showed the rain that stopped the Rider Cup golf tournament you will know the rain that fell over my garden as the Rider Cup is being played in nearby Newport !

Not near the Ryder Cup (or Newport, for that matter!) but was out in that rain all day yesterday, & last night (out on the razz with the falsielashes on)........definately wring-out-yer-gusset weather!
This morning, what I mainly found in my garden was "Wet"........lots of it!

The squirrels have discovered that if they run along the top of the fence dividing our neighbors' property from ours, that they have a smorgasbord of corn-on-the-cob right handy to nibble on. I have to find some clean soup cans to put over the cobs now so they can't get at them. Little monsters.

More raindrops landing like tiny jewels on the leaves and flowers sparkling like tiny diamonds as they fall .
