Re: What did you find in your garden today?
Rotten aphids on one of my roses. I hate them.
Joy my wisteria has gone nuts and the whole front yard is covered in beautiful mauve flowers. ( The plant has taken over the whole garden but that is OK as it covers and gives shade to the front of the house ) I found out recently you can get red and white wisteria so I am thinking of getting some extra plants.
Cheers Heather ![]()

Re: What did you find in your garden today?
I was in my summer home and did a couple of things in my garden.I seeded the area which had bald spots., and since I am not there often I mowed the grass because it was about 4 inches , added mulch, and got rid of the weeds,Now I would like to develop a vegetable garden, tomatoes, radishes, a Spanish vegetable called yautia in the potato family, cukes, and green beans. I find this exciting because I would like to eat my own vegetables and be assured that they don't contain noxious sprays.

Hundreds of snails
OH was trimming around the bird bath in the back yard and found hundreds of snails hiding there, so they went into the bin....that's a hundred or so less that can find their way to our vege patch
