Re: Have you bought or been given a new cookery book recently ?
I use my Nook as a "I want to read this book, but I don't want to pay $25 for it". I still buy hard copies for books I want to "cherish". I love to read those little "Agatha Christie" type murder mysteries and the paperbacks are $7.99, on the Nook most of them are 99c or $1.99. They are not book's I want to line my shelves with. I save that for my collections of favorite authors, classics, Bibles and cookbooks.

I'm sharing the Kindle, so have let MrP take it first and decide. He immediately bought everything Wodehouse wrote for a grand total of 99 cents! Love Wodehouse - Jeeves, Blandings Castle, etc. Yes, I know what you mean, we go through scores of paperbacks, usually second-hand, then trade them in for more, but even that is getting expensive and the choices are too limited sometimes.

these two guys have been approached numerous times to do TV show but want nothing to change. They just seem to want to make enough money doing what they love and be able to get home with their family at a reasonable time.

Yes! My mom found a GR cookbook a few weeks back and gave it to me. It's a Christmas one but every page is something I would do.
