My father used to have a poly tunnel in his garden and would grow amazing vegetables in it , he had a nectrine tree cordoned at one end of the tunnel.

Poly tunnels are great we had tomatoes, chillie, cucumbers, celery, peppers, gherkins, leeks and a lemon tree I have started from pips. The only thing is when the weather is bad you have to look out for rips and tares. We covered ours over the plastic with bird netting for extra support when really windy. But all this snow we have had it has ripped in places due to the weight of the snow but as I have stated on my " Just got one" Hubby will be repairing it soon.
