Re: let me ask my silly question of the day

I have around 15 rhubarb plants in little pots, grown from the seeds of the older ones in my orto

do you think I must keep theem there until early spring, or plant them in the ground, before they go dormant, or after???? I'm so proud of them but fear to lose them .... how silly can one be at my age          cool   oops  help

Hi mada wave

I would plant them in the still warm soil, and before the cold weather arrives, pile over  more soil as we do with potatoes....like a scarf for winter. They will happily go dormant knowing that they have a decent bed  smile
