Re: Eid Mubarak

Hopefully not offending anyone I have a question about the saying "Eid Mubarak".

I read back the posts about Eid and that I now understand, but the Mubarak part puzzles me? What does that mean?

Re: Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak /Ad Moubarak is the celebration at the end of Ramadan.

Ad al-Adha is today the celebration of sacrifice. Musulman calendar year 1433 : 26 octobre 2012 corresponds with the full moon.

Our young Muslim friend explained Ad al-Adha to us today  smile
