This year it is very tiring for me cause of the baby, and I need to take care of the kids on my own cause my wife has gone to Hujj. I also got the runs so cant really enjoy the tasty eid food.
Good news, his done teething so not as much crying, Bad news his done teething and those teeth bloody hurt!
This year we have done a share (1/7) of a cow.
Any one have any beef ideas?

there are two feasts kye..
Eid al adha is the feast of sacrifice which is a four day feast going on right now..
Eid al fitr celebrates the end of Ramadan the month of fasting. This year it was celebrated towards the end of August I think.
The phrase Eid mubarak is used for both celebrations as a celebratory good wish.
next year I think both will be much earlier. I think they move about a month earlier each year as the muslim calander is moon based.

Yes there are two Eids. The one which marks the end of Ramadhan is called Eid ul Fitr.
This Eid is Eid ul Adha. It celebrates when Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son and when he went to do it, God replaced his son with a Ram.
The lunar and solar calendar differ by about 11-12 days a year.
Yes the Arabic Eid Mubarak is used in most countries for both Eids. But some countries use a phrase that means pretty much the same thing in their own languages.
Turks say Bayram Mubarak, Bosnians often say Bajram Barečula, Malays say Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri but whatever they say in their own languages, I think everyone will understand when you say Eid Mubarak to them,
