How much for WHAT?
"Late Friday and Saturday, the opportunists took to the websites eBay and Craigslist. They began marketing their hoard to whimsical collectors and junk-food lovers for hundreds -- and in some cases -- thousands of dollars. That's a fat profit margin, when you consider the retail price for a box of 10 Twinkies is roughly $5.00"

Maybe if another company bought the brands and started making them again, the Twinkies would lose the collector's status?

Re: How much for WHAT?
I have to say that dispite having taken our children to America a couple of times when they were younger we hever bought the twinkie's .
But since they are all adults and have been themselves several times I think a few of them have tried them , one daughter tells me they are just a little cake with a vanilla filling inside and did not think they were very exciting , she preferes Reeses peanut butter cups.

Just think of all those State fair vendor stands that won't be able to sell deep fried twinkies anymore.

Re: How much for WHAT?
I probably haven't eaten a twinkie in over 20 years. In fact, I can't remember ever really liking them. Stale cake with too sweet filling.

Re: How much for WHAT?
battered then fried I believe . I have never tried them. I am wondering if I should start a selling business too , since they are still being made and sold in Canada.

Re: How much for WHAT?
I hear that someone bought the Twinkies brand. Haven't found out who yet.
