I love meatloaf, but only if it's open-roasted. I only made tinned meatloaf once, and oh my giddy aunt! The grease! Never again.
So I make mine rugby-ball shaped, rub with oil and roast on a tray. All the fat runs off, it's great. Some bloke called Jamie gave me the idea.
