What a great birthday Ashen - that would be the ideal birthday meal combo for MrP too.
Simple dinner last night of meatloaf, buttered jasmine rice and steamed broccoli.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Loin of lamb chops (Welsh lamb of course), roast spuds, honey roast parsnips and baby sprouts with a lovely thick gravy. (Unless you can stand your spoon up in the gravy, hubby not interested.) The chops were so succulent. Hit them on the hob to seal then finished off in the oven with a sprig of rosemary tucked under.

Laugh if you want to but we're having a fully wammy salad, using tinned tongue. A salad with all the trimmings; Little Gem, radish, spring onion, tomato, hard boiled egg - shame I've run out of avocado - smuvvered in mayonnaise. Followed by a belated Christmas pud. with brandy sauce.
