Love all my JO products except graters broke in a month.

Hi all i hav purchased a lot of JO stuff over the years and was recently given two hand held microplane graters which worked a treat.
BUT
Within s month or 2 of using them they have broken.... both in the same spot basically where the handle meets the grater which is of course where all the pressure is directed.
The wire that holds the grater should run up through this point and around the inside of the handle leaving no weak points....

I have tried contacting management twice and have had no response so thi thought i would bring it up here and see if anyone else had the same issues?

Happy to submit a photo too if i can?

Oh dear !
I don't have any Jamie Oliver graters so I have no idea if this has happened to other people.
Have you tried to take them back to the shop you bought them from ?

It was a gift so not a possibility.
Tried contacting through the contact us but no response.......
Any idea how to post photos?

You can only post photos on the blog but really it's best to send the photos to the coustomer service of the manufacturer , here it's only realy forum. Members that will see your photos and we can't realy help . Sometimes one of the forum moderators sees the posts here and writes on it .

has the person who gave you the gift still got a receipt ?
The shop that they were bought from should exchange them as there is clearly something wrong with them.

No receipt.

I am hoping at least this way i may have someone a moderator or even jamie look at it and ask to see photos as honestly they are the most poorly designed grater i have seen... and i loved them till the broke and it is so clear for just a small extra cost the would be chef quality...

Here, we can get a 'gift receipt' which is a great idea.  It has the bar codes, etc. needed for returning the item, but the price isn't visible to the person receiving the gift.

eta:  Of course, this would be up to the store where the item is sold.

Still no contact from Jamie olivers crew.....Bit of a shame as one love the man. Have all his books and some of his gear..
