Re: Whats For Supper?
Thisledo, hope your hubby is doing better.
Last couple of dinners:
pan-seared salmon topped with lemon and cilantro and oven-roasted potatoes and steamed bok choy
duck and armagnac sausage over field greens and baby spinach salad with walnuts, cara-cara orange supremes and walnut oil/white balsamic vinegar dressing

Re: Whats For Supper?
Roast chicken with broccoli, leeks, rice (cauliflower "rice" for me) and gravy. Fresh fruit if anyone feels like pudding.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Asian-style rice noodles in chicken broth with bok choy, chili sauce and the last two duck and armagnac sausages. Few pieces of candied ginger for dessert.

Re: Whats For Supper?
If Sunday is now "Indian night" here, Monday night has reverted to "Risotto night". Last night I made chicken and leek risotto. Salad and fresh fruit followed.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Mrs Pablo, thanks for asking after my husband. He's nicely on the mend thank you.
I'm puzzled! Other than oven-roasted potatoes, what other way can you roast potatoes, eh?
I'm having sticky spiced pork ribs, currently sitting in their marinade.

Re: Whats For Supper?
my wife and I went out for our belated valentines meal. I was down for almost two weeks with a nasty headcold.
she had cappelletti and ceasar salad and I had a green salad and spaghetti alla puttanesca with shrimp.

Re: Whats For Supper?
Roast pork (with crackling of course), roast potatoes, savoy cabbage, 'carswede', stuffing, apple sauce and thick gravy, with bits in, lol.
