Re: Whats For Supper?

Last night we had a beef and pepper stew, with mashed potatoes and broccoli and cauliflower, and tonight it will be dill-crusted salmon with a dill and lemon sauce, peas and new potatoes, followed by fresh raspberries and cream.

Re: Whats For Supper?

Seared Pollock on a Minted Pea Puree, served with Buttered New Potatoes, Baby Carrots, Courgettes & Runner Beans (all from the garden).
Plum Batter Pudding (similar to Clafoutis) & a blob of Clotted Cream.

Note: To avoid confusion.....all the fruit/veg came from the garden...........

........as yet the sea isn't quite there yet despite global warming, so I cannot claim to have harvested the fish..

.....oh, & tectonic plates moving as they do, Cornwall isn't as yet in the Midlands so I cannot claim the clotted cream either. Shame about the latter...but there you are!
Hope that clarifies things. Sorry!

Re: Whats For Supper?

Pork Stir-fry............pig from my mate up the road, veg all from the garden, sauce created with dribbles & dashes of a host of bottles & jars, the contents of which originated all over Asia!

Fresh fruit Salad for dessert (probably dressed with a gingered/spiced light syrup)
