Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

search function has never been great here.. better to use google to search for stuff on the site anyway.  Just type  this in the google search box.  it will tell google to only search on  the J O site for whatever it is you want

www.jamieoliver.com: whatever you want to search for

example

cut and paste this into google

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

it's becoming a museum we take care of, dusting, explaining to visitors how it was ? when visiting museums I often looked out of the window envying those living real life while I was looking back at things staying still under glass or hanging on a wall instead of being used

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

Thank you all for flagging these - I have logged it with the devs. I'm sorry, I've been away for a little while.

If you could perhaps let me know exactly what pages are causing issues that would speed things up on our end.

Hope this helps Merlin .

This section is a little hot & bothered. It should be back up shortly.

You just can't access any of the above sections , making it tricky to look up recipes that have been previously put on the forum to link into posts .
Or allowing you to look up previous posts to comment on as it basically limits you to what is on the recent posts page .

Thanks Mummza, very helpful. Apologies for the time it's taking (Eric's on holiday!), hang tight.

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

The ad for the Food Tube Live Show (4 Nov) placed over forum topics is becoming really annoying as is the ad for Save with Jamie placed over the Submit button (I use a phone most of the time).

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

...ditto.....it's really getting on my nerves.

There are enough ads on this forum without a "pop-up" blocking all threads.....poor show Jamie team!!!!

Terry

p.s...Jamie is estimated to be worth £40.000.000. .......pop-up ads blocking all threads seems to be a false economy....only my opinion....

Re: Website/forum: issues and complaints?

Here's just one example of the YouTube ad covering forum topic lists (it also covered the Post a Response area when I went to post this):
