American $ in the UK?

What is the cheapest way to get some?
Does the post office offer them with no commission?
I only need a few like 200 or something,

Re: American $ in the UK?

I should have taken your advice.
Instead I thought cashpoints would be best, because they charge a fixed fee of £2.50 no matter how much you take out. But when I checked my statement when I got back there were two fees on it adding up to almost £10. So I went to my bank and they said they have just changed their rules. They they charge a fixed fee + a percentage. Even if you use a branch of that bank in that other country.
That means I paid a lot more than what I would have done at a money changer.
